In the account of the demoniac in the country of the Gerasenes, from whom our Lord Iesus cast out a legion of demons, the Lord did not allow the healed man to follow him, but instead told to return to his household and to his friends, to tell them of the great things that God had done for him.

- 19 And he would not let him, but said to him, Go to your house, to your friends, and give them news of the great things the Lord has done for you, and how he had mercy on you.
- 20 And he went on his way, and made public in the country of Decapolis what great things Jesus had done for him: and all men were full of wonder.
Brothers and Sisters in the Anointed One, as many as desire to follow our Lord Iesus, let us also go and tell our family and friends of great things that God has done for us.
