- possibly synonymous with Kibroth Hataaavah
Massah (Exodus 17:7), a.k.a. Meribah
- Massah means "testing"
- a place near Rephidim
- where children of Israel murmurred against Moses
- because of lack of water
- Meribah means "quarrelling"
- there is a slightly different account of Meribah
- in Num 20:2 - 13, where Moses disobeyed the LORD
- by striking the rock instead of commanding water to flow from it
Kibroth Hattaavah (Numbers 11:34)
- graves of craving
